• Hobbies: society work, reading, baking, theatre and other culture
• Numerous positions of trust, e.g. member of Joensuu city council and government, chair of the Greens of North Karelia, vice member of government of the Green League

The New North Karelia:

”I want to live in a Finland, where everyone has the chance for a good education, care, and basic social security.  A safe daily life involves taking care of everyone. We have a responsibility for nature, the environment and the future generations. From a culture of excess we must shift towards moderation: more time, less junk.

Everyone should have the possibility to influence their own lives and immediate surroundings. This is why civil activity must be supported and strengthened. North Karelia needs to believe in its own strengths: the sustainable use and know-how of its natural resources, clean nature and strong culture.

The forthcoming election will determine the direction that Finland is to take. My Finland is open, socially just and equal, and environmentally responsible.

It is time for a new Finland and North Karelia.”
